Lessons

Fire Fly Stables is a riding academy, dedicated to the well being of the horse and rider. We work with each as an individual and as a team, specializing in lessons for children and adults, both beginner and advanced. Our coach’s styles of coaching and training are both supportive, and competitive. The balance between learning new skills, achieving goals, and having fun in a safe environment creates a formula for success.

To learn more about the coaches at Fire Fly follow the link to the About Us page.

We offer a wide variety of lesson and training times, to learn about current availability and to book your spot please do so through email panzsa@hotmail.com.

We encourage students to ride once a week when they start out and students wishing to improve faster, or to ride competitively are encouraged to ride more often or look into co-boarding a horse. All lessons are a full hour of riding. All packages must be paid in advance. It is up to the rider to make sure the payment happens on time.

Students are expected to arrive at the time booked to tack up, this allows for a half hour to get ready before the ride. Students are also required to stay after their lesson put their horse away, typically the whole lesson takes approximately two hours. Riders are welcome to stay longer, this is not an assembly line, however children must be supervised by an adult if they are at the barn outside of their lesson times.

*Note: Lesson cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance and that lesson may be made up within two weeks, if it is not made up within two weeks the lesson is forfeited.
If you did not cancel 24 hours in advance, or you just didn’t show, the lesson cannot be made up and is forfeited.
This allows us to schedule our lessons and make up lessons for students who are responsible and do cancel with enough notice. All packages must be paid in advance.

Co-Board

Fire Fly Stables offers Co-Boarding programs as a way for students to further connect with their horses, and allow for extra riding time, without owning their own horse. Co-Boarding can be especially helpful for students planning to show, or improve quickly in a shorter period of time.
Not all horses are available for this program, and it doesn’t work for every rider, so make sure to check with your instructor before starting co-board. Contact Us

Off-Site Coaching

Off site coaching is available to students with their own horse. Each individual location will have to be determined before booking, gas and mileage fee will apply. Group monthly/seasonly rates still apply for students off-property, if groups are arranged.
The 24 hour cancellation policy is still in effect with off-site lessons.
