About Us

Fire Fly Stables is a riding academy, dedicated to the well being of the horse and rider. We specialize in lessons and training, for anyone from the beginner to the advanced rider. Our coaches, Jenn Bruner and Linda Feth, work together to deliver a program suited to all students passionate about riding. Coaches work with riders both as individuals, and as a team with their horses.

Jenn has completed the University of Guelph Horse Management Certificate as well as the Coaching and Horsemanship program offered through Kemptville Campus. Wanting to know more, Jenn then joined Tommie Turvey’s gang for a winter internship where she learned more about horse training, running a horse business, and about being a clinician. Jenn enjoys teaching both at home and off property at clinics.

In 2013 Jenn had the opportunity to represent Horse Dancer at the Can-Am Extravaganza in Orangeville ON. Below is a clip of them performing Liberty. In the following year Jenn was able to entertain at the 100th annual International Plowing Match. She was also privileged to join the Knights of Valour as the opening act.

Linda Feth

Coach

Linda’s passion for horses started early in life. After many years of riding as a young equestrian, Linda took time away from horses for university and to establish her first career. Linda returned to equestrian sports eight years ago as a member of the Fire Fly Stables team. What started as once a week lessons with Jenn has become a second career including horse ownership, show series competitions, stable management and coaching/mentoring of new riders. Linda’s passion is dressage but she also rides and competes in combined training (dressage and show jumping). Linda has attended numerous clinics and continuous learning courses on topics including horse health, lameness prevention, saddle fitting, horsemanship, and stable safety. Linda’s goal based coaching approach helps riders achieve their potential in a supportive and safe environment.
