Fire Fly Stables offers coboard programs as a way for students to further connect with their horses, and allow for extra riding time, without owning their own horse. Coboarding can be especially helpful for students planning to show, or improve quickly in a shorter period of time.
Some horses not pictured below are available for coboard, and different packages may be available for specific horses. Be sure to check with your instructor if you are interested in coboard so we can ensure you are getting the best package for you. Contact Us.

Hugs
10.2hh Shetland Pony gelding
Hugs would be ideal for a young rider with an experienced parent to help them along. He knows how to walk and trot under saddle, and has cantered and trotted small jumps with a more experienced rider. Rider weight max 80lbs.

Lena
15hh Haflinger x Thoroughbred mare
Lena would be ideal for an intermediate or experienced rider. She takes up leg and can accommodate a taller rider. She has a strong dressage foundation and a scopey jump. Lena has experience showing combined training, and could easily take a rider up the show jumping or eventing levels.
Lena is available for sale/lease or on site coboard.

Big Benni
Big boned, 16.2hh Tb mare. Solid w/t/c and jumps a course with fill. Has been off property and would be a contender for Angelstone next season. Has some quirks that make her not for a beginner, or else she'd be happily employeed here. No buck, rear, gets forward but not bolty. Goes in a soft frame. Currently out of work due to her riders gone to school, she pops into the odd lesson here but it's not enough. Lives outside, barefoot and very sound currently but depending on footing may need front shoes. Will consider all reasonable offers for sale/lease or coboard here.

Penny
16.2hh Dutch Harness mare
Penny is an easy-going mare best suited to walk-trot and trail rides. She can carry a larger rider, and is also suitable for someone who just wants a horse to spend time with. Penny is an absolutely darling who would love to connect with a rider outside of 1x a week lessons.
